1st Day of Kindergarten!

James started Kindergarten this past Monday!  Our big boy was ready for his big day.

 And this goof-ball wanted some 1st day of school pictures too.  Of course, I couldn't pass up the opportunity!

Birthday Party

 We celebrated the boy's birthdays on Saturday with a smashing party at Jump City.  Here is the crew of kids (minus 2 who were too busy jumping to pause for a picture!).

Look Who's 3!

Charlie turned 3 on August 13 and is very proud of it!

For his birthday, he and James both got kites which we attempted to fly before going out for ice cream to celebrate.

One last trip for the summer

Cory and I and all 3 kids headed to Montana for one last trip before school starts.  One highlight was reading Grandma's good books.

And we got to experience the beginning of harvest.

 James was learning all sorts of farm related things from Uncle Pete.

Bunk Beds!

 One of my main accomplishments this summer was moving the boys into a room together complete with bunk beds!  Good thing Doug is handy and easily put the bunk beds together. 

Swimming Lessons

 The boys have been in swimming lessons for the past two weeks and have really enjoyed it!  They love their teacher - Brittney.  Here are a few pictures of them in action.

4th of July

 We spent the 4th of July weekend camping at Horse-tooth Reservoir near Fort Collins with Tricia, Nathan, and Blake.  The weather was hot and sunny so most of our time was spent on Tricia's boat.  Thank goodness all 3 boys love the water!

Charlie was less of a fan of swimming but did enjoy sitting on the back of the boat and jumping in with Doug's encouragement.
