New Kitchen

We embarked on a major kitchen remodel project this summer.  It started in May and officially was finished this past week.  I heart my new kitchen.

Camping 2012

We took the boys camping last weekend with Tricia and Nathan.  I didn't get any boating/tubing pictures but here are a few from around the camp.

But first, check out Charlie's face scrape that he accomplished on our drive-way.

 Mmmm...cookies.

My favorite picture from the weekend...

Our Family Vacation Part 2

Part 2 of our family vacation was in Grand Forks for my cousin Jeff's wedding.  It was by far the nicest, most beautiful wedding I have been to and was full of little details.  We are so glad we were there for their nuptials!

I love this picture of my brothers which depicts just how opposite they truly are.

Just one example of the cool details - these were our table placecards.

 My whole family...

Charlie found a chair that fit him perfectly.

And we ended our vacation with my good friend Paula and her kids - Elliot and Whitney

Our Family Vacation Part 1

We had a wonderful family vacation this year starting in Minnesota with Doug's sister Sondra and Keith.  They have a prime lake cabin which we all thoroughly enjoyed.  A few highlights from our stay were fishing, boating, swimming, and eating.

James loved the lake water - Charlie was less of a fan but was content on the boat.

Keith and Sondra swimming with James.

We spent a lot of time on the boat which was the only way to endure the HOT weather.

Home

We spent 2 weeks of May in Montana with my parents. Cory and Kaylynn were there for part of the time as well.  We added alot of life and noise to Mom and Dad's house!
The 3 kids all love the brown chair.

On my birthday, we took the kids fishing on the mighty Redwater River.  It started as a chilly morning but got really nice.  We didn't catch anything and Kaylynn was the only one who got a bite.  The kids had a great time regardless.

Charlie kept busy hauling the worm bucket around.

The fishing trip ended with my dad teaching the kids how to skip rocks.

There was some serious painting going on one day.

And we also found a turtle in Mom and Dad's yard.

Trying to get a posed picture proved challenging but still fun...

Preschool

James has had a great year in preschool this year at Kid's Discovery Days.  This is his class picture.

And a few shots of him playing/learning in the classroom.  I was the class volunteer this day.
