Grandparents

Doug's folks, Kay & Chuck, came to visit us last week. We took a nice drive into the mountains to see some of the fall colors.

And spend the rest of the time just admiring our new baby! James loves his grandparents.

Portrait Session

Jamie has a very nice camera and is an excellent photographer so we had a portrait session with James at their house the other day. I wanted one good picture for a birth announcement and we got it! I didn't post the one we are going to use for the birth announcement here though...you'll have to wait until you get the announcement in the mail. Here are a few of my favorites that she took. Isn't he precious?!

Visitors

We have had lots of visitors since James was born!

Aunt Sondra and Aunt Tricia came to see us in the hospital.

Aunt Jamie and Cousin Kaylynn came to see us as soon as they got home from Minnesota. Kaylynn is so proud of her "brother-cousin".

My parents came to visit and my mom stayed for over a week. Thank goodness for moms!!

And Uncle Cory finally got to meet James when he got back from his travels to Guam.

It's good to be home

We got home from the hospital on Tuesday and arrived at our house to find this sign on our garage. Thank you to Doug's sisters, Tricia and Sondra, for the great welcome home!

We also received lots of flowers after we got home. Tricia and Sondra had left the bouquet of roses. My brother and family, Cory, Jamie, and Kaylynn, sent the red wagon of flowers, my mom and dad brought flowers, and Doug's brother, Toby and his family, sent a nice bouquet.
