The Day After Thanksgiving

It's a great day to stay in and do things that have been neglected...like pictures on the blog!

Halloween came and went...we had lots of visitors that weekend including my parents and Aunt Jeanene!

We took a little vacation to Glendwood Springs with Cory, Jamie, and Kaylynn.  The hot springs were loved by all of us!

Soccer

Charlie is playing soccer this fall...and LOVES it!

Lydia's Birthday

For Lydia's birthday, we went to Build-A-Bear with her cousins.
We love having a 3-year-old!

Bethany's Wedding

In September, we went to South Dakota for our niece, Bethany's wedding.  It was gorgeous!

These 5 are pure trouble...oh and James broke his thumb the week before the wedding, hence the cast.

The venue - it was really cool.

Above, Doug's family.  Below, the bride and her dad.

First Days of School

Picking up right where we left off...
And just like that, it's the first day of school again!
We have a 3rd grader - James
a 1st grader - Charlie
and a preschooler - Lydia

End of School

And just like that...school was out for the summer!

The kids had wonderful teachers this year.  We miss them already!

Right after school got out, we headed to Montana to meet baby Sawyer!  That makes 5
great-grand kids for Grandma Tookie.

A quick picture before we left for the last time with a 2nd grader and a Kindergartner!

Long Overdue

WOW - it's been 4 months since my last post??!!   Where does the time go?
Here are some highlights from our last few months.

It snowed...a lot!

We went to South Dakota for Christmas.  The kids had a blast playing in the snow with their aunts.

We also made a gingerbread house.

Trying to get a decent picture of 5 kids age 8 and under on Christmas morning resulted in this.

And of course, we saw Santa and Mrs. Claus before holidays.

In February, UND played hockey in Denver so the kids wore their favorite Fighting Sioux gear.

James had some artwork get chosen for a county art show so we went to the grand opening.  He is with his friend Skylar who was also chosen for the show.

And lastly, we spent last weekend in Gillette with my mom.  Mostly, we swam at the awesome water park.  Lydia was sleeping when I had the camera out so I didn't get any of her.
