Happy Halloween!

James had two Halloween outfits for the big day and of course, he had to wear both so I could get pictures of each outfit. We tried to take him to a pumpkin patch a couple of days ago, but we were too late and it had closed by the time we got there. Good thing James is too little to know that his parents didn't have it together that night. Anyway, happy Halloween from all of us!!
Protecting the candy...

Or maybe it's okay to pass it out!

Road Trip to Montana

James and I decided to make the 630 mile trip to Circle, Montana and spend a week with Grandpa and Grandma Wolff. Great-Grandma Tookie even came to meet her great-grandson. James loved to "visit" with his great-grandmother.

We took a four generation picture of my grandma Tookie, my mom, James, and me.

Lots of friends and neighbors stopped by while we were there. Peg brought James this toy to play with while he was at Grandpa and Grandma's.

I used to babysit Michelle and Allison who are in high school now!

James spent most of the time just hanging out with his grandpa and grandma. We had a great time!!

A Visit from Paula

It's been awhile since I've updated the blog! I apologize to all of our faithful blog readers. A couple of weeks ago, my best friend Paula came to visit and meet baby James. We had such a great time!

We took some pictures in our backyard.
This picture is for Rekka who requested a picture of James and I.
James played and looked at himself in the mirror while Paula and I visited.

And we had some fun with him - we set this picture up for Papa Kroetch!

We also spent one day in Longmont while Paula was here. Kaylynn had a soccer game and afterwards, she got to play with her favorite cousin James.

What does James do all day??

Or what do James and his mommy do all day?!!? Besides eating and sleeping, we find lots of ways to spend our days...
I took multiple photos of James trying to capture a good one of his beautiful smile. These four are the best and the closest we came to a good smile.

We went to visit Doug's cousin, Carmen and her daughter, Sophie, who live near us.

James spends some time on is tummy and also lounging in his boppy pillow.

After many tries of me putting him in his swing, he finally likes it! It took some time for him to figure out that swinging is a good thing.

Sometimes when naptime is longer than usual for James, I get to quilt! This is my latest project...a baby quilt for my good friend Paula who is due in December.

And a great way to end the day is with a bath.
