First Day of School

School started last week!  We now have a 2nd grader (James), a Kindergartener (Charlie), and the cutest little sister ever (Lydia).

Happy Birthday Charlie!

 On August 13, Charlie turned 5!  We had a family celebration of cupcakes, a few presents, and an all-around good day.

Summertime

Our summer is almost over!  So it's time for an update.  

We did a round of swim lessons.

We went to Montana and rode horses.

 

We planted a garden and harvested zucchini, yellow squash, green beans, tomatoes, and cucumbers.  We're still holding out hope for our watermelon plant.  :)

And we spent lots of time at the lake with Tricia, Blake, and Nathan - watersking, swimming, jumping, and plain ol' having lake fun!
