What a great invention this is! James love his Bumbo chair and I highly recommend it for anyone who has an infant. James loves to sit in it and play or look at himself in mirror. It also works very well for feeding. We gave James his first taste of rice cereal this week...and he loved it!

Deck the Halls
The house is looking so festive these days that I thought I should share our Christmas spirit on the blog.

Baptism
James was baptized today and we had lots of family and friends here with us to celebrate this happy occasion. Grandma and Grandpa Wolff sent the baptismal outfit since they were unable to make it. James had Aunt Tricia, Aunt Susan, Uncle Cory, Aunt Jamie, cousin Kaylynn, Grandpa and Grandma Kroetch, and Carmen, Preston, and Sophie with him on his special day.

Thanksgiving
Here it is a week into December and I am finally getting around to blogging about Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful holiday and got to give thanks on two days! Preston and Carmen had Thanksgiving early this year and then we celebrated at our house on Thanksgiving day.

Sophie looking hungry.
Doug posing with James to show how much James looks like him!
And on at our house, James wore his monkey outfit and was up for posing for lots of pictures. In the first one, he really looks like Doug.

Trip to the Denver Zoo
My friends, Rekka and Chris, came to visit us and meet sweet baby James last weekend. We discovered that the Denver Zoo had a free admission day due to Denver 150th birthday, so we took advantage of that and spent the day at the zoo. Here are a couple of pictures of Rekka, Chris, James, and me.

A Weekend in Colorado Springs
We went on a mini-vacation this past weekend in Colorado Springs. The main reason for going was to see my alma mater, the University of North Dakota, play Colorado College in hockey. James has lots of school spirit already. Go Sioux!!!
We also visited the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs with Cory, Jamie, and Kaylynn. They have the largest giraffe exhibit in North America. It was very impressive!
You can feed crackers to the giraffes which Kaylynn did...with a little help from Auntie (me).
Even James got in on the zoo action. Here with giraffes and me.
And then later with Aunt Jamie and the gorillas.
And just for fun, one more Halloween picture of James wearing his "Little Monster" T-shirt that he got from cousin Kaylynn.

Happy Halloween!
James had two Halloween outfits for the big day and of course, he had to wear both so I could get pictures of each outfit. We tried to take him to a pumpkin patch a couple of days ago, but we were too late and it had closed by the time we got there. Good thing James is too little to know that his parents didn't have it together that night. Anyway, happy Halloween from all of us!!

Road Trip to Montana
James and I decided to make the 630 mile trip to Circle, Montana and spend a week with Grandpa and Grandma Wolff. Great-Grandma Tookie even came to meet her great-grandson. James loved to "visit" with his great-grandmother.
We took a four generation picture of my grandma Tookie, my mom, James, and me.
Lots of friends and neighbors stopped by while we were there. Peg brought James this toy to play with while he was at Grandpa and Grandma's.
A Visit from Paula
It's been awhile since I've updated the blog! I apologize to all of our faithful blog readers. A couple of weeks ago, my best friend Paula came to visit and meet baby James. We had such a great time!
We took some pictures in our backyard.
